La Luna Girls
This is a year-long immersion for girls aged 9-13 to introduce and prepare for the mysteries of menstruation and womanhood. Weaving together craft, ceremony, teachings and cultivating self-care practices, we guide the girls into the deepening of their own feminine wisdom and mastery.
We begin at Imbolc in February and move through the seasons and the celtic festivals, meeting for two hours one Sunday a month with a break in August and finishing at winter Solstice in December. Mothers and guardians are welcomed to be a part of the journey at the opening, summer celebration and the closing of the year.
Having run girl’s circles previously I feel deeply honoured to be asked to take on the baton from Louise Press (onewomanawake.com). I will be holding these circles in the yurt where she has been running Blossom and Flo for the past ten years. We will continue to journey through the seasons according to the program that Louise has crafted and it feels wonderful to be carrying it forward for another generation.

Details:
- February (mothers and daughters) – Opening ceremony, sewing a locket and storytelling
- March – Introducing the internal weather report and getting to know each other through creating a web of connection.
- April – Stages of womanhood and the wisdom of the cycles
- May – Anatomy and physiology, fertility and making a Beltane crown of flower
- June – Intuition, inner guidance and making a heart warming Rose oil
- July (Mothers and daughters) – Creating a summer mandala in the woods
- AUGUST SUMMER BREAK
- September – The wheel of the year: when to create, express, let go and dream
- October – Magic of menstruality, the 28 day cycle and a look at menstrual products
- November – Self care and relating, moon baskets and a Letting Go fire ceremony
- December (mothers and daughters) – Walking the winter spiral, storytelling, tea and cake
