About Me

My Story of Feminine Initiation

My journey into womanhood began early in life when I gave birth to a healthy baby girl at the tender age of 12, following a number of years of sexual abuse. This was a rite of passage, experienced too soon and although it could not be described as empowering, I did have a vaginal birth and was initiated on some level into my power and body wisdom as a woman.

This separated me from my peers and my three sisters on a fundamental level and I found myself being both ostracised and revered as a result, a common pitfall in feminine relationships and part of the collective Sister Wound we all face. Alongside female embodiment and sexual empowerment, reclaiming Sisterhood became a lifelong journey and passion for me, inspiring the work I do today.

When I was 20 I discovered herbal medicine while travelling in Zanzibar and I returned to the UK to begin a Herbal Medicine Degree at Middlesex. I found my way to Neal’s Yard Remedies in Bristol, where I discovered a love of body work and I enrolled in Holistic massage at the Bristol School of Massage and Bodywork. I was lucky enough to train with Andy Fagg, the founder of the course.

At this point I really started to connect with the trauma trapped in my body from the early years of abuse I had experienced and this led me to Jewels Wingfield and I completed The Year Long Initiation into the Sacred Feminine. Beyond the release of long-held trauma, I finally began to realise the importance of stepping in and claiming my womanhood (to re-imagine the experience of having it thrust upon me too soon). Things began to make sense. I finally felt I knew how to be a woman in a woman’s body. I began to understand my cycles and how to work with them.

In the decade that followed I birthed three more children and have continued on my path in Natural Medicine, Body Wisdom and Sisterhood. I am a qualified Lomi Lomi Massage Therapist, which is a beautiful Hawaiian style of massage, bringing you into presence with the touch of unconditional love. Traditionally, Lomi Lomi massage was offered in temples as part of a ritualistic rite of passage. I will sometimes combine this with Hands Free Deep Tissue Massage (including myofascial release).

In the Summer of 2020 I completed my training in Shamanic Womb Massage with Avalon Priestess, Angie Twydall. This work includes Herbal Yoni Steaming, for which I prescribe herbs that are tailored to a client’s specific needs. This work has the potential for powerful

healing and is recommended for any woman who longs to connect deeply to her womb and herself. It can be especially helpful in addressing issues like birth trauma or pregnancy termination.

Currently my training path is leading me through The Four Seasons Womb Awakening apprenticeship with Deva Pathways. This is a reclamation of the archetypal feminine aspects of maiden, mother, queen and crone, which allows me to access and utilise my innate wisdom codes. This is weaving into a deeper dive into the sacred work of Soul Mending, which I am studying with the School of Sunheart Shamanism.

I am now able to weave together all of these healing elements, offering uniquely tailored treatment plans for the women I work with. The central focus is the womb space and we spiral out, working with whatever emerges from connecting at this crucial point. This work is deeply satisfying and is so greatly needed that I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to continue to grow and develop my calling.
